Concrete

Concrete docks are very solid and durable. Over time, exposure to natural elements can lead to buildup and stains. Apply detergent or degreaser on the surface and allow it to stay for 5 to 10 minutes. Then, use about 3,000 PSI to blast away all the unwanted substances. When the concrete dock is dry, reapply a sealant if needed.

Aluminum

Aluminum docks are lightweight but durable. This material is less susceptible to decay and other types of damage. To clean aluminum docks, apply an oxalic acid-based cleaning solution to break down all the dirt, mold, and mildew. Use a soft wash system, with about 500 PSI, to remove all the unwanted substances. Keep the wand 10-12 inches away from the surface. 

Composite

Pressure washing can remove dirt, mold, mildew, debris, stains, and other unwanted substances from composite docks. Use a power wash system with 1,500 PSI to prevent any kind of damage. Keep the wand 6-8  inches above the surface and the motion should go with the grain of the composite surface.
