Post-Construction Clean Up and Pressure Washing Services

Rough Cleaning

The first stage consists of removing large debris, excess materials, trash, and other items that are no longer required. This is to create a blanker canvas to work with. This is also where the removal of various stickers (from glass doors and windows) comes in. Rough cleaning also consists of general sweeping and vacuuming to get rid of loose dirt and dust.

Proper Cleaning

The second stage consists of the most work. It involves comprehensive cleaning, which usually requires the use of heavy equipment and other tools. Doors, windows, walls, floors, cabinets, toilets, sinks, and other items must be cleaned. Extra attention must be paid to corners, edges, and inner surfaces. Vacuum any carpets and upholstery, steaming them if necessary.

During this phase, the use of a pressure washer is normally essential. For concrete and new brick surfaces, it is recommended to use a pressure level of 2,500 PSI, a 25-degree nozzle, and a cleaning detergent.

Other surfaces like wood, vinyl, stucco, and stone are best cleaned using soft washing. These materials require a lower pressure level and more cleaning solutions.

Touch-Up Cleaning

The third stage is the final cleaning of the post-construction area. This takes place several days following the end of the second stage to get rid of any dust particles or dirt that may still have settled. Touch-up cleaning also involves removing fingerprints and smudges from surfaces, especially glass, to keep the space free of any imperfections. Superb Softwash offers this part of the cleaning process as an optional service.
